Assam's very own Harry Potter Witch Village

If only could J. K. Rowling's imagination rand wider, Harry Potter would not belong to Fictional Magic Land of England but from our very own Indian Sub continental village of Mayong in Assam.

Just google Mayong and search results would be flooded with magic, witchcraft, witch doctors etc etc...

And to put a legal affirmation to this story, the Indian State of Assam has their very own Democratic constitutional ACT :- 

According to the Assam government data, between 2011 and 2019, 107 people were killed across the state in witch-hunting incidents. 

The Assam Witch Hunting (Prohibition, Prevention and Protection) Act of 2018 was passed to 'prohibit witch hunting and prevent and protect persons from witch hunting'.
